Z Fish Report (8/6/15)

David Shack, Long Beach CA, fished a day with Adolfo with the fly rod.
He missed a few larger ones, but told me "It took a while to get in the groove
but once it came back it was good".
The blue water is still in tight against the coast, and the surface temperatures have decreased a degree or two, averaging between 87 and 88 degrees.

Offshore – The sailfish action remains with only about a sailfish per day per boat, and they feel lucky if they raise 2 to the spread.
The Inshore still has decent action on roosters and jack crevalle. Cheva, on the panga Dos Hermanos II fished the Petatlan area on Thursday, with 6 large jack crevalle (16-20 pounds) and a 25 pound roosterfish. Also, Adolfo on the panga Dos Hermanos called me on his way back from a very long run to Calvario. They got 9 roosters between 20 and 40 pounds. An excellent day on the water.
