Z Fish Report (4/18/19)

Above: Tasty sierras on the panga Dos Hermanos
Below: Jack crevalle and black skipjacks

Offshore (average) surface water temperature - Includes from the 5 - 6 mile mark at the 100 fathom line, then to the 1,000 fathom line being about 32 miles: Exactly the same as the last three weeks. 83°

Inshore (average) surface temperature. From the beach to about 5 miles: About 80°
Blue water: (Chlorophyll amounts and surface temps from Terrafin SST) Clean from the beach to out past 50 miles.
Offshore: Adolfo, on the panga Dos Hermanos, had a great day with 4 striped marlin and 2 sailfish. All were released, and all were taken on spin gear or light tackle conventional gear (like the gear you use for walleye, bass, or salmon). This makes for a lot more fun, compared to the deckhand setting the hook, and handing a 5 pound reel to you to winch in the fish.
Above and below: Bob Givens taking advantage of the leaning post on Rudolfo's
leaning post on the bow of his panga, down at Puerto Vicente Guerrero.

Inshore: With few clients, there is little information. Adolfo found the sierras for his clients.

Rudolfo, down at Puerto Vicente found some jack crevalle for Bob Givens. Bob stayed at Mark Dennison’s fishing lodge at la Barrita (Rayo del Sol). They fished Puerto Vicente Guerrero, raised several roosters, which were not eating.
